Julia volunteered at the local district 25 and 214 schools that her daughter attended. Julia likes science fiction and adventure novels and enjoys jazz music and plays both the piano and the trumpet. She also gardens extensively with native plants. She loves dogs, and has two rambunctious cats underfoot.
